Smithey Ironware

Smithey Ironware began as a backyard passion project. Founder Isaac Morton discovered his love for vintage ironware while spending time in his woodshed, captivated by the smooth finishes and timeless logos of classic designs. There, he honed his skills in restoring old, forgotten pieces into beautifully functional cookware, which he delighted in gifting to friends and family.

After years spent poring over collector’s books and restoring rusty old skillets to their 19th-century splendor, Isaac Morton grew curious about creating something entirely new. The idea of crafting a cast iron cookware line that blended the timeless elegance of vintage designs with the advancements of modern technology felt natural and inspiring. From this vision—a belief that a lost art could be reimagined as a modern icon—Smithey Ironware was born.

In collaboration with renown blacksmith (and workshop neighbor) Robert Thomas, Smithey expanded into producing carbon steel cookware in 2018 with our farmhouse collection. Each piece of the farmhouse collection is individually hand-forged and visually unique, while sharing core design features tuned to the Smithey style. The resulting cookware is as beautiful as it is functional.
